We first met Eric about a year ago when he came to us to print posters, since then we've had the opportunity to work on multiple promotional products with him including folded cards and softcover portfolio books. We love that Eric values print the same way Paper Chase does, we sat down with him to chat about his process.

What’s the motto/life philosophy/advice you live by?
I was raised in the midwest by a middle class blue collar family. Nothing was handed to us, you had to work for it. So I am a strong believer in handwork pays off. Feels better that way anyways.

Notepads. They are all over my house and I use them to get Ideas out of my head and onto paper.
When do you feel like you’re at your best?
When Im prepared and surrounded by like minded people.

Tell us about your latest printed project:
I recently had folded promos made. One with my commercial work and one with my POV personal project images. I feel having that personal work included helps balance everything out and lets them see who I am outside the studio.
What brought you to Paper Chase Press?
My dad always said "If you are gonna spend your hard earned money to buy something, just buy the best"
How often do you use printed goods to promote your business?
Im trying to do it at least 3 times this year. Always producing new work and wanting to get it out there.
What is your favorite aspect of your job?
Each day brings a different challenge.
What career moves and/or aspirations brought you to your current role?
I assisted some of the top shooters out there, but I reached a point where I needed to just purely focus on my own career.
